The Team

Alex Vilaythong, DO, is a board certified family physician and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern.  He earned his medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.  He completed his internship and family medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. 

Prior to the founding of Enlightened Health Direct, he was a family physician and medical director at a Baylor Scott & White family clinic in Fort Worth for over 10 years and an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. 

Dr. Vilaythong has published over a dozen research articles.  He is married with 3 kids and 2 dogs.  In his spare time he serves as an Assistant Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America and he is active in his church in Arlington.  He has also serves on the advisory committee for a non-profit organization based in Washington DC after 9 years of serving as their board of directors.

Alejandra is from Fort Worth, TX. She has been in the medical field for 6 years and worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Vilaythong for Baylor Scott & White for 4 years prior to joining him at Enlightened Health Direct. She is married with one child. She loves to travel, enjoys hanging out with family and friends, hiking, and reading. 

Sorely is a licensed esthetician and has been a certified lash tech since 2020. Her 10+ years in the medical field allows her to specialize in advanced skincare treatments. Working exclusively with the highest quality products means you will receive the best lashes and skincare treatments available.
